why did i stop blogging? hahah wala lang...di na kasi uso. pero looking back at my old posts and the drafts, masarap ding basahin. reminds me of how i was ....

anyways, here's me hoping to revive this again. see ya.

to be in love

Kakahatid lang ng pinsan kong lalaki sa girlfriend nya sa house nila. As usual, sila pa rin ang magkatext habang papauwi na yung pinsan ko. So ang pinsan ko kiti-kitext habang nasa jeep. Nung malapit na siyang bumaba at papara na siya, eto ang sigaw nya:

'MA, I LOVE YOU!

Wahahahahah! Tawanan daw yung mga pasahero pati yung driver! Wahahaha! Funny talaga.... Obviously, yung ang itinetext nya sa girlfriend nya, nagkahalo lang at nasabi nya sa driver. Wihihihihihi!

I have my own share of bloopers while riding public transport. Nung kasagsagan ng Tabing Ilog na youth teleserye sa Channel 2 nun, nagpara din ako sa FX driver ng, "MAMA SA TABING ILOG LANG PO.", imbes na "mama sa BAGONG ILOG po.". Or one time, imbes na ang sabihin ko PARA!, ang nasasabi ko, MAMA, BABAY! Hehehe o diba feeling close.

kuwentong kalye

nope, she's not at a park. she's kind of living in a spare lot by an intersection. cute noh, looks like she's having a picnic everyday :) she saw me taking this shot that's why she looked away

this is just one of those walking billboard ads. hehe saw them a couple of weeks ago, kaya lang i was inside a cab so i wasn't able to take a shot. naaliw ako when i saw them. they usually go in tandem and nakatalikod sa street so that passers-by and commuters can see their ads. sabi ni jason at night, may ilaw pa talaga ang ads nila. this was in ortigas, i don't know if me ganito na rin sa makati.

since i was on leave (due to ondoy) for about a week, i often stayed late at office this past week. to catch up on hundreds of email and deliverables.

this was 9pm inside our office. still had a lot to do but had no option but leave. the generator was not available,i think. or used up na.

had to use the stairs from 5th down to the ground. buti na lang medyo matapang ako that night. was able to veer away the stories about mumu from my mind while walking alone. hehehe

sabi ko ke jason, i hotel naman nya kami hehehe to make us comforable at night. ang hirap kayang magpaypay. wag naman sana dito heheheh :)

extra passenger

when jason fetched me from office two saturday nights ago, as i approached the car, i heard a cat's meow. it was raining so i thought there's a stray cat somewhere near the car.

however as we drove along, i am still hearing the meow, only a bit softer. i thought i was just hearing things (don't worry it's not that often heee). i asked jason if he's also hearing it. upon straining a little bit, he said he's also hearing it.

so where's the cat? can't probably be inside the car cause the meow was a lot louder when i was outside the car. we thought it was under the car. got worried that it might be on the wheels spinning its head off.

when we got the chance, we stopped at a mall with outside parking, and looked under our car. and there it goes, safely tucked atop the condenser(?).

here's jason trying to get the cat off the car. no luck. jason brought the car from the house to our office, and brought it back from the office to our house. heeee..

we didn't see the cat the morning after.

accident on floodway bridge

on our way to work today, we witnessed an accident involving a motorcycle rider and a car. if you can see on the first picture below, the rider flew about 5 meters away from his motorcycle. we saw no blood, but think the man is hurty pretty badly. he was conscious but can't move. i saw his legs and feet shaking, i assume from pain.

the motorcyle has the right of way, and the white toyota (UPN311) made a counter flow and hit the motocyle. the lady on black printed blouse (her face partly covered by the man on the motorcyle in blue jacket) was the owner/driver of the car.

according to jason, it happened so fast. he just saw the man flying in the air. look at the expression of the woman on the sidewalk, her face ashened. while the other guy is taking pictures thru his camera phone.





this is the motorcyle, notice the wheels/tire? some of the rider's belongings scattered on the pavement. his shoe almost beneath THE car. wonder where the other pair of his shoe went off ...

didn't know what happened next. we had to rush cause i am already late on my 730am meeting. hope the guy is okay. a lot of other motocycle-riding guys were all over him (and the car owner), some even went ahead to inform the police/traffic officers positioned at the end of the bridge.

there must have been a secret association between riders. i always notice their camaraderie everytime something happens to one of them on the road. they tend to gang up on the offender and help their fellow rider.

my lost phone

i blogged months ago that i lost my phone. yeah... lost it, darn.

i have always had a problem with the battery life of my o2. kaya i always bring then the charger. and everywhere i go, i always make it a point to look for an outlet, kasi i really have to charge the phone or else, in an hour, i'll be disconnected from the mobile world.

at megamall's bowling alley, where my current BA team decided to have our team building activity, we were located at about 4 lanes away from the exit door. i saw an outlet under a set of chairs behind the alley. i did not have any insinuation or worry that i might lost it kasi the outlet is kinda hidden. that was i thought. and i was checking it like every 5 seconds. really.

we were all 'bano' on bowling. when there was this time that someone got to hit a strike, we were jumping for joy. i remember before jumping with them in joy (hehe) i checked the phone. after 5 seconds, looked back at it, its gone! i asked the others baka pinag titripan lang ako. wala. actually they didn't know that i was charging the phone there.

but apparently, what they did notice is there was this binatilyo hanging around our area. and true enough, it was captured in one of our pics, he was there. siguro, he saw me going back and forth to the phone, kaya when he finally got the chance.... wahhh! ayun.

he got the phone, the charger and the headset. kumpleto. mabilis siya. and magaling. kasi one would have a hard time reaching under the chair to get the phone, include pa the charger. it was arms length underneath. oh well.

back then, i was cool. yung mga kasama ko pa ang nagwoworry. ang sa akin, nangyari na. wala na kong magagawa. i just called jason, using my other phone, to call my provider and have my line cut off temporarily.

i didn't mind (still don't) losing the phone, really. kasi nga, i was having battery life problems na. never mind din my list of contacts, as i thought, i can still retrieve them from the laptop.

what peeved me was losing all my data. i wish he would return the memory card. or atleast let me back it up first. aquim's milestones were there. dates when he had his tooth. dates when he bumped his head (several times). observations when he got sick. history of the first few weeks of his existence like the times he was fed, how much, description of his pupu. really. it was ALL there.


what worries me lang the most is i've saved important information about myself on the memcard. i'm a potential identity theft victim. you see, i used to work in a bank and it's required to submit this complete info of an employee to the BSP. literally, if someone in the know gets to see and really inspect the data in my memory card, tsk. i'm doomed.

it's been 3 months since and i don't have any problem naman like someone posing as me (knock on wood). or receiving huge debt notice, something like that. i'm hoping he disposed off my memcard na. or sana he just deleted everything on it para ibenta na lang uli.

so right now, im stuck with my old nokia 6610. and i never had my list of contacts back. cause the laptop that i used to synchronized it with has to be reformatted.

that's another story.

now, it's really confirmed. ako na lang ang walang FB! hehehe even my former boss have one! who would believe that? i can't!

towed

last june, menggay gave up on us, just like that. hehehe... jason was driving, right after we turned right to ortigas avenue extension from c.raymundo, menggay stopped, just like that. luckily, the shell station is just on that corner. we digged on jason's wheeler's club membership but it's already expired. then again, he have this petron bpi mastercard with free 24/7 towing services. we called and voila, after an hour or so, we are now being towed.

jason let me drive menggay, he thought he and manong will push menggay on to the ramp. hehehe

maliligo sana ako kagabi, nang pagbukas ko ng gripo, walang tubig! pinalipas ko muna, naisip ko, baka mamaya-maya lang magkatubig na. pagkalipas ng 30 minuto, binuksan ko uli ang gripo, wala pa ring tubig! hinde na ako nakatiis, bumaba na ako ang sinabi ko sa me ari ng inuupahan namin na wala ng tubig. kailangan ng paandarin ang motor ng tangke.

habang pabalik ako sa aming bahay, nadinig at nakita ko ang mga pinapanuod ng aming mga kapitbahay. kami ay nakatira sa ika-8 pinto, mga 6 na pinto din yung nadaanan ko (sarado kasi yung ibang bahay). at lahat sila, ang pinapanuod, si annabelle rama, 'day. nanunuod sila lahat ng sharon. naman! siyempre, panauhin kaya niya si kc at si richard. at si annabelle nga. napahinto rin ako at nakinuod sa isang pinto. nakakaaliw nga naman kasi talaga si annabelle. para sa akin ha, papanuorin ko rin ang sharon dahil ke annabelle. hehe.

pagdating ko sa bahay namin, dali-dali kong sinilip ang aming telebisyon, para maabutan sana kung ano pa ang mga birada ni annabelle. ay mali. maling palabas. sabi ko: daddy, ikaw lang ang iba ang pinapanuod. lahat ng nadaanan ko, sharon ang pinapanuod. tayo, beijing olympics. nginitian lang ako. hinde na ako umapela, ako naman kasi ang may ari ng telebisyon mula kaninang 730. si remy naman ang pinapanuod namin, si remy-ng daga. mayamaya, patalastas sa beijing. inilipat ni jason. akala ko, sa sharon na. ay maling palabas pa rin. f1 european grand prix pala.

hinde ko alam kung dapat ba akong matuwa na iba ang pinapanuod amin...

ang tanong, natandaan kaya nila ang itsura ng bawat isa? pag nagkita kaya sila ulit (sa cr?), mag iiwasan ba sila?ang mas malaking tanong, sino si girl#1? sino si girl#2?

panahon na naman ng santa cruzan. naaalala mo pa ba ang katabaan, este kabataan mo? ako oo. tandang tanda ko pa nung mga bata pa tayo. kelangan sagala ako. hehe. hinde naman kelangan pero parang hinde pwedeng lumipas ang summer na hinde kami naisasali sa sagala. kesehodang mag punta sa lahat ng kamag anak para mang hiram ng gown na isinuot din sa sagala or ipinang abay.

iba kasi ang feeling ng nagsasagala diba. feeling ispeyshal. feeling maganda. nagmamaganda. tanghali pa lang patutulugin ka na. kasi para mamayang gabi, sa oras ng sagalaan, hinde ka antukin at matapos mo yung prusisyon. pagkatapos ng tulog, make up na. at sandamukal na aqua net. titiisin mo lahat yun. para maging ikaw ang may maraming nag iilaw sa oras ng prusisyon. siyempre mas maraming nag iilaw. feeling maganda. mas nakikita ka pa ng mga nanunuod.

medyo matagal tagal na nga din mula ng me nagsasagala na galing dito sa compound namin. paano lahat kami malalaki na at hinde mo na mapapasagala. pero ngayon.. ngayon .. .meron na kaming bagong manika. hehehe. nag abay siya sa kasa ni acel. flowergirl. so sayang naman ang damit nya diba. makakalakihan nya lang yun. kaya pinilit namin ang mga magulang niya na isali na siya sa sagala.

ayaw pa nga nila. kas daw nag uulan. sabi namin, hinde yan uulan. e di pag umulan, pauwiin. kahit makalakad lang siya ng isang kanto. para naman maranasan din niya maging sagala. ayaw nila.

nung malapit ng lumakad yung prusisyon, nakumbinse na din namin sila na isali, si toni. ayun. binihisan. ipinusod ang buhok at nilagyan ng korona. nilagyan ng unteng blush on, eyeshadow, lipistik at pulbos. nanghingi ng bulaklak sa altar ni mama mary, kinuha ang rechargeable lamp at ayun. ipinila sa sagala.

holy week 2007

uy grabe, holy week na naman! how time flies. parang kelan lang sinusulat ko ang holy week entry ko for 2006. grabelicious... ngayon 2007 na!

anyways, same as last year, we don't have plans for the week. mas lalo ngayon. siyempre i'm pregnant so we can't afford to go out of town or yung masiyadong nakakapagod na mga gimik. plano namin sa house lang, nuod dvd, tulog, kain. in short, magbuhay baboy but unlike last year, na meron namang atleast some plans to hit the beach, ngayon wala talaga. wala akong plano. pero malay natin, if magkabiglaan baka me mapuntahan din kami kahit swimming pool hehehe.

pero.... i've asked jason if gusto nya mag-visita iglesia tomorrow. ako, hinde pa ko nakakapag visita iglesia, ever! hinde namin nakagawian yun e. mas ano sa amin yung mag stay sa bahay at kumanta ng pasion ni kristo dun sa kapilya. or sundan ang daang krus pag biyernes. so if ever na matuloy kami bukas, iniisip ko na ngayon ang mga gusto kong puntahan na simbahan. hinde ko nga sure if ilang simbahan ba dapat, some say 7, some 14 daw para isa for each station of the cross. eh hinde ko nga alam kung ano ang ginagawa sa visita iglesia. as in visit lang ba ng church? or magdadasal ng holy rosary? isang decade? isang mystery? di ko alam.. clue less...

meron na kong mga naisip na church, caleruega (kasi hinde pa ko nakapunta dun), san jose (siyempre dun kami ikinasal), guadalupe, manila cathedral, san sebastian, yung simbahan sa new manila na me mahabang aisle (forgot the name), st. peter parish sa me fairview. at ... kumokontra na nga ang aking asawa, kasi magkakalayo ang mga simbahan na gusto kong ivisit. hehehe. as in parang namasyal na kami! lugi sa gas. well..let's see. i'll try to post some updates (if sipagin ako) during the next days (if matuloy kami).

kwentong fx

kahapon, natuwa naman ako at madali akong nakasakay ng fx. as in hinde na ako naglakad, pagtawid ko, meron agad dumaan. so pinara ko siya. dun na ako napaupo sa gitna, dun ako sa likod ng driver.

so after mga 15 minutes, and mejo napuno na ang fx, i asked the mamang driver: "manong, wala na bang ilalakas ang aircon nyo?". feeling ko kasi, naiinitan kaming lahat ng pasaheros and wala lang gustong magtanong. yung katabi ko panay ang punas ng panyo sa mukha at leeg nya eh. alam mo ba ang sagot ng driver: "wala, kung gusto mo lumipat ka ng fx!".

aba pambihira noh... grabe. sobrang nashock siguro ako. hinde ako nakasagot. nagpupuyos ako sa galit pero hinde ako nakasagot. hinde ko kasi alam ang isasagot ko eh. ayaw ko makipag away sa driver eh. hmpf. inisip ko na lang, makakarma ka din loko ka. hmpf.
