hehehe i'm back!
after a long 16 hour flight, i'm finally home! naks! left LAX around 11pm PST, arrived here in terminal 2 by 6AM MLA.
kilala pa naman ako ng anak ko! and mukhang masaya naman siya na kumpleto na uli kami. lagi naka mommy lang. hahaha! nakakamiss. kaya lang parang naging spoiled ata siya. lahat daw kasi ng gusto nya sinusunod nung wala ako eh. nakakaawa naman daw kasi parang lagi siyang bugnutin nung wala ako, so kesa daw umiyak, lahat ng requests, sinunod. hay nako. ngayon, me kaaway na uli siya, ako! hehehe
funny, naiisip ko naman ngayon ang set up namin sa CA. heeee

mommie moment
last night, i was just chatting with my room mate. i dont know how it got to the point when i was telling her about aquim... after that... i just started crying.. huwahhhh..
i was able to brave the week.. without being too emo or something. last night, i dont know. i couldnt help it.

would you believe i've slept over the weekend? parang walang ka effort effort mamasyal eh anoh? hehehe
saturday, we had the privilege to woke up late, around 10am. and then got ready to go to our colleague's aunt's house. we stopped over and did some shopping at costco for some pasalubong. then off to their house. they have flowers and fruit bearing trees in their backyard. we were able to taste loquat. there's a couple of apple trees, but unfortunately, it's not the season yet. while we were waiting for our clothes dry up, we went to ross and bought pasalubong again.
around 630 we went back to the hotel in time for pacquiao's fight. unfortunately, the hotel doesnt serve pay per view. so we settled for live streaming. we werent able to watched it "live" but then again, few minutes after the fight, we've been able to watch it in youtube.
had dinner at mcdo and then tried to do some work. we were planning to go to camarillo on sunday to do some serious shopping.
we didnt notice the time, by the time we did, its already 6am and its time to hear mass. the church is about 2km from the hotel. we went there by foot because our driver is still asleep, and cabs/buses are not that readily available here in manhattan beach. infact, its very seldom that i see cabs/buses.
i can barely held my head up during the mass. i was soooo sleepy. by the time we got to the hotel, we decided not to go shopping and sleep instead. we slept from 930 to 3pm. no breakfast. no lunch. we decided to get up because we have a party to attend to at around 5pm. the ceo invited us.
we had lunch. and then went to ceo's house. chika chika. hehehe around 7pm, went back to the hotel. i still have some work to do.. was sleepy. so i was like working, then sleep. then work again. then sleep again. by 230am, work is done, so here i am, trying to blog.
ill hit the sack in a few minutes. and brave myself for another work week.

californication
april 26 - 10pm (MLA), off to LAX
april 26 - 830pm (PST), LAX; 11pm manhattan beach hotel (yeah, it took us that time to get out of the airport, with the long queue in immigration and customs, LAX to hotel is about 10 minute drive, we were fetched by a big ford suv -- i dont know the exact model). as soon as i've settled in to the hotel, i hit the sack.
april 27 onwards, 7am to 8am- already in the carson office to do the reason why we're here. good thing here, i haven't had any jetlag. heeh.. i think my body clock adjusted pretty easily. around 10pm till 12midnight, i'm already sleepy. 5am-6am, i can wake up easily.
work in the office usually ends up around 6-7pm. tricky part here is the sun is still up during those times so i'm (i only speak for my self, i dont know about the others) kinda psyched that it's just 4pm. so we always end up working in extended hours.
last wednesday, we went to an old navy outlet and checked out some stuffs. yesterday, we hit the carson mall and checked out jcpenney, old navy ... and jollibee! ehehe
we ate at tony romas and the one that was serving us is a filipino. a lot of filipinos in here.
breakfast and lunch are being delivered in the office. so we only have the chance to try the restos during dinner.
twice we just bought sandwiches from chevron's extra mile (version of our shell's select) and one time we ate at joey's grill. had breakfast at carl's jr and starbucks.
one thing i notice, servings here are upsized!
i'll try to post some pics as soon as i got them. you see, i brought a cam but apparently, i can't charge the batteries here. i just usually use the cam from my celphone. i'm totally dependent on my colleagues' captured photos. sucks. i know.
